3 reasons for optimism in Week 4

Simply put, Justin Fields has been bad to start the season.

He has yet to complete over eight passes in a game and has only 23 total completions over three games. The quarterback has a passer rating of 50.0 (spiking the ball every play nets you a 39.6), a QBR of 23.2, and a completion percentage slightly above 50-percent.

While the Giants do not have the best pass defense it should certainly be enough to cause Fields some problems. The Ohio State product has thrown four interceptions this season (two in his last game) and has yet to throw a touchdown since Week 1. Wink Martindale’s blitz scheme should be able to confuse the sophomore and hopefully generate the first Giants’ interception of the season.
